Ashlee Pinto Zurita
Deputy General Counsel, Builders Vision
As Deputy General Counsel, Ashlee Pinto Zurita manages Builders Vision’s legal function, including the team's day-to-day affairs and supporting internal teams on matters across the legal spectrum.
Before joining Builders Vision, Ashlee served as Associate Counsel at Valor Equity Partners and was an attorney in private practice with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates. Ashlee has a demonstrated history of representing family offices, private funds, fund sponsors, large public companies and investors. She is passionate about the private equity and venture capital industry and enjoys advising market-making investors and leaders. Ashlee is a 2026 Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow.
Ashlee is admitted to practice law in New York and Illinois. She earned her law degree from Stanford Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from DePaul University. While in law school, Ashlee co-authored a textbook on property law in Timor-Leste. Ashlee remains intellectually curious about tribal sovereignty and enjoys zombie and post-apocalyptic fiction. Ashlee is most often described as a fierce advocate, authentic leader and an excellent executor. Ashlee is steadfast in her commitment as a culture carrier and considers social responsibility a tenet of her identity and leadership at Builders Vision. When she is not working, she is relishing in chasing her rambunctious and fearless children.
